We are seeking a senior Murex Project Manager to join the EMEA ILC Project Management domain, embedded directly within a client programme. This role requires an experienced delivery lead who can manage complex Murex initiatives across scope, planning, governance, execution, quality, risk, staffing, budget, and stakeholder communication.

The successful candidate will coordinate across client stakeholders, internal Murex teams, project contributors, and system integrators, ensuring delivery remains aligned with the agreed Statement of Work, programme roadmap, milestones, and quality expectations. The role requires strong ownership, senior-level communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a complex client environment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Murex experience, with strong project delivery exposure across implementation, upgrade, migration, enhancement, or transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience as a senior Project Manager managing complex capital markets / Murex projects across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of Murex delivery governance, including scope, planning, RAID, dependencies, budget tracking, staffing, and quality management.
  • Ability to manage project delivery against a formal Statement of Work, ensuring activities, deliverables, and responsibilities are clearly covered.
  • Strong stakeholder management across client teams, internal Murex teams, business users, IT teams, and system integrators.
  • Experience coordinating project plans, milestones, stream-level deliverables, and release / deployment readiness.
  • Strong communication skills, including senior-level reporting, status updates, steering committee inputs, and escalation management.
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and with strong follow-up discipline in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery within the EMEA ILC PM domain, ensuring programme activities are planned, governed, and executed effectively.
  • Ensure the Statement of Work covers all required activities and manage scope, priorities, changes, and delivery commitments.
  • Build, review, and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and stream-level activities.
  • Coordinate delivery across client stakeholders, internal Murex teams, system integrators, and technical / functional contributors.
  • Manage RAID, issue escalation, decision tracking, action follow-up, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Support staffing and mobilisation for project activities, ensuring key roles and workstreams are properly aligned.
  • Monitor project budget, timelines, deliverables, quality controls, and deviations against plan.
  • Provide clear weekly status updates, monthly project reviews, and executive-level reporting to both client and internal stakeholders.
  • Support release readiness, cutover planning, go/no-go preparation, and post-release follow-up where required.
